If you want to change your IP address on your home computer, there are few ways that might work for you—some simple, some not. Before trying more complicated/technical methods described below, you can try something that's very easy.

Now you’ll see it is showing your exact location (You may notice it is also showing Latitude & Longitude).So, on that circumstances you need to know how to hide your IP address. So that nobody will be able to detect you.

There are a lot of ways to hide your IP address like—

➤ Method 2: From your Web Browser.
➤ Method 3: By using Add ON.
➤ Method 4: From cmd prompt.
➤ Method 5: From various websites.

Well, let’s know all these methods step by step .

***METHOD 1 :HIDE YOUR IP ADDRESS WITH SOFTWARE *** 

There are lot of software that may can help you to hide your IP address .Here I’m going to tell you some software names. 
1.Hide IP Platinum 
2.Easy Hide IP 
3.Hide My IP

These software not free .You may can buy these software or use crack version. 

***METHOD 2 : HIDE YOUR IP ADDRESS FROM WEB BROWSER ***

This is an interesting method .You have to done it manually and really it works good.It’s not a hard method at all .You just have to follow me step by step.

1.First of all you have to get a free proxy list.Go to any of the link below. 

    ➤ www.hidemyass.com 

    ➤ www.anonymizer.com 

    ➤ www.wujie.net 

    ➤ www.ultrareach.net 

    ➤ surfshield.net

I choose first one.Now go to “IP:port proxy” option.Hence you’ll notice some IP address and and port like this.See the image below for better understanding. 

*For Mozilla Firefox Users:

1.Follow this step—

Go to option>advance>network>connections>settings 

2.Now go to “Manual proxy configuration” 

3.Now go to www.hidemyass.com and then go to IP:Port Proxys and copy an “IP address ” and “port".

Try to copy that is american or russian IP address and port.

Now paste that in mozila and click ok then close it.

4.Now go to google and write down “check my ip”.You’ll notice tht your ip address has been changed. 

Do this perfectly and surely you’ll be done. 

*For Google Chrome users: 

1.For this type also you should copy an “IP address” and “port” as I mentioned above. 

Now go to —

Option > Under the hood > Network > change proxy setting > connections > lan settings 

2.Now paste “IP address” and “port” and click ok then close it.See the image below for better understanding.

3. Now go to connections > settings and paste the same IP address and port and click ok then close it. 

Don’t forget to click beside “Bypass proxy server for local addresses” 

4.Now go to google and write down “check my ip”.You’ll notice tht your IP address has been changed.

***METHOD 3 : HIDE YOUR IP ADDRESS BY USING ADD ON***

*For Mozilla Firefox Users: 

1.First you need to download and install Foxy Proxy standard from . Click here to download Foxy Proxy Standard.

2.Now restart your browser and you’ll notice a pic of fox at the right corner of your browser. 

3.Now click the right button and go to the option.from thr go to add new proxy. 

4.Now, paste there IP address and port that you copied before from www.hidemyass.com. 

5.Now go to General tab and give a name as you wish and save it. 6.Now go to Google and write down “check my IP”.You’ll notice tht your IP address has been changed.

***METHOD 4 : HIDE YOUR IP ADDRESS FROM COMMAND PROMPT***

1.Press window button+r and write cmd and hit the enter ,command prompt will open. 

2.Now write the code below and hit the enter.

➤ ipconfig /release 

3.AgainNow write the code below and hit the enter.

4.Now from your desktop go to “Network Places” or “My Network Places” and keep the mouse on it and right click of your mouse and go to properties. 

5.Now you’ll see a new window name “Local Area Connection”.

6.Now keep the mouse on it and right click of your mouse and go to properties. 

7.Now go to General tab.

8.From there you’ll find “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” .click on it. 

9. Now click “Use the following IP address” and give an IP address as your wish. 

10.Now click on tab button and subnet box will fill up automatically and click on ok but don’t close it.

11.Again you’ll see Local area connection. Now go to properties by right click of your mouse and again go to TCP/IP>Obtain an ip address automatically >click ok 

And you are done !!

***METHOD 5 : HIDE IP ADDRESS FROM WEBSITES*** 

This method specially for mobile users .Though pc users can also use this method but I personally recommend all pc users to change/hide your IP address manually . 

For mobile users : Go to http://www.hideme.mobi/ 

and from there you’ll be able to hide your IP address. Just type the URL of any websites there you want to hide your IP address and click on GO button. 

For PC user : Go to http://www.hideme.biz/
